The quick and easy answer is no, it doesn't have a user replaceable battery. Of course the reality is a bit more complex. There are some videos on Youtube where they teach you step by step how to replace your old battery...but most likely it will void the warranty. Then again...if your boom is a couple of years old it's probably out of warranty anyway. In that case I guess it's up to you to determine if it's worth the risk or not and how confident you are in your tinkering skills. Doesn't look TOO difficult..just don't go electrocuting yourself heheh.
